Partner companies 2024 – We are part of it!
DONAT IT is a partner company 2024 of Doctors Without Borders e.V. With our donation we support the organization’s worldwide medical emergency aid.
We made a Christmas donation to the organization back in December 2023. Starting this year, we are launching a long-term cooperation with Doctors Without Borders. We were therefore checked in advance in accordance with the aid organization’s donation guidelines.
Médecins Sans Frontières provides emergency medical aid worldwide in crisis and war zones and after natural disasters. The international organization helps quickly, efficiently and unbureaucratically – without asking about the origin, religion or political convictions of the people affected. In the name of medical ethics and the right to humanitarian aid, Médecins Sans Frontières always works neutrally and impartially and demands unhindered freedom in the exercise of its aid activities. In addition to providing medical aid, Médecins Sans Frontières is also committed to ensuring that people in emergency situations are not forgotten. Because acting neutrally does not mean remaining silent and drawing attention to grievances and crises.
MSF’s team of doctors, nurses, midwives and logistics staff work in more than 70 countries. They treat sick and wounded people, look after malnourished children and provide clean drinking water and latrines.
Background information on Médecins Sans Frontières
Médecins Sans Frontières was founded in Paris on 21 December 1971 and is the world’s largest independent and private organisation for emergency medical aid. Médecins Sans Frontières is committed to the humanitarian principles based on the international humanitarian law of the United Nations: Impartiality, independence and neutrality. Since 1998, Médecins Sans Frontières has been awarded the DZI seal of approval, which certifies that donations are handled responsibly. Médecins Sans Frontières was even awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999 for its aid work.
