Record number of participants at the 8th Ingolstadt company run – DONAT IT was there

More than 6,550 runners took part in the (Kaufland) Ingolstadt company run on 11 July 2024. A new record was set with this high number of participants. Of course, there were also some DONAT runners among them, who delivered a strong performance.

The meeting point was at 5 p.m. at the red DONAT pavilion in Klenzepark Ingolstadt. After the starting numbers had been allocated, our running team made their way to the starting line. As a little refreshment, we had muesli bars and DONAT grape sugar on the way. The route led along the Danube, over the barrage and back towards the city, through part of the Künettegraben and then back along the Danube to Klenzepark.

Our runners showed real stamina on the 5.5 kilometre course in midsummer temperatures. They can proudly report on their running times.

Our best runner mastered the course in under 28 minutes. But the other runners also all made it to the finish line within 45 minutes. Congratulations!

After the run, each participant was given food and drink vouchers, which they could use to get a little refreshment at the various stands. Bratwurst sandwiches, Bavarian kebab, chips or sweet crêpes? The selection was large and there was something for every taste.

The after-run party then took place in Klenzepark from 19:00. We ended the evening together with great entertainment and music.
